All of our animals are raised by their mommies. We feel that this is the most natural way for any baby to grow up. Our babies also interact with humans and other animals providing you with a healthy and well adjusted animals. All goat babies will be wormed and have recieved their 1st 2 sets of shots prior to leaving our farm. Doe and buck goats are able to be registered with ADGA and come with registration paperwork.

Wethers
Not only would these sweet little boys make wonderful pets, they could also be wonderful brush clearers and lawn mowers. By the time they're ready to go to a new home, they'll be disbudded and humanely castrated. Babies are $100 each. We will offer them at a discount if you take 2 or more or if you are a 4H member.
Buck Kids
Prices will very based on conformation, but proably in the $150-$250 range.
Doe Kids
Does are available to approved homes for $150-$300. A great deal, out of our quality lines. We will offer them at a discount if you take 2 or more or if you are a 4H member. The discounted price can include a wether.
Heritage Chickens
Chicks are sold straight run for $5 a piece. Pullets and Adult birds vary in price based on age and breed.
Sales Policy
Reservations on an upcoming kidding require a $50 deposit. Only three doeling reservations will be taken per doe, and slots fill up fast so we advise getting your deposit in promptly. Reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. If the animal is still not paid in full by the time it is eight weeks old, it will be put back up for sale and any deposit/payments will be forfeited. We do not ship our animals. All sales are final. Rhodedendron Ridge Farm reserves the right to cancel a reservation (deposit would be refunded.) Animals are guaranteed healthy at time of pick up / shipping. We accept PAYPAL for reservation or payments. We ask for an additional 2% payment for PAYPAL payments due to processing fees charged by PAYPAL.
Our animals are sold to good homes only.
A good home for a goat is one that provides the following:
* lots of love *
* a clean, dry, protected shelter *
* fresh water, good quality hay and minerals *
* secure fencing to keep goats / chickens in and wandering dogs out *
* a large enough area to run, jump, and play*
* good hay for growing babies, and grain for lactating does*
* a safe environment free of hazardous materials, including poisonous plants *
* regular worming *
* access to a veterinarian *
* routine hoof/nail trimming *
* a caprine companion for goats*
